Marion is the Principal of Midas Home Loans and has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1974. She is an Associate and Practitioner Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), a Full Member of the Mortgage Finance Industry Association of Australia (MFAA), a Member of the Professional Lender's Association Network (PLAN Australia) and holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and Diploma of Financial Services - Finance/Mortgage Broking Management. Marion is an Authorised Representative of MLC Financial Planning, a division of GWM Adviser Services, a Licensed Dealer in Securities.
Marion has been an active Principal in the mortgage origination/finance broker industry since early 1995. With her many years of consumer, business and corporate lending experience, together with her Financial Planning qualifications and skills, she leads a strong business team that is committed to positive outcomes for each client. Marion’s financial services practise has a strong history of providing quality advice from a strategic viewpoint, coupled with excellent customer service and is well placed to assist with your financial planning needs.
Marion has become well known for her ability to negotiate solid affordable lending with a creative flair and provide solutions for clients with multiple debts that have become difficult for them to afford. Her debt consolidation expertise is well sought after and Midas Home Loans has been well represented across Australia due to Marion's exceptional skills.
Financial planning became the focus for Marion’s studies in 1998, when she recognised the financial services evolution. It was clear that mortgage brokers would need to transition to financial planning and provide qualified professional advice. As a result, Marion offers both financial planning and mortgage broking to her clients as her belief is that anything less is a disservice.
As a Financial Planner, Marion consults regularly with clients who are looking to establish Life, Trauma and Income Protection Insurance to protect their family and financial position. She involves herself with the claim process to assist with the smooth transition from claim lodgement to receipt of benefit. Marion has a compassionate understanding of people and their needs.
Marion’s clients speak with gratitude and affection once they’ve experienced time with her. She is undoubtedly one of the most professional, astute and client focused people in the business. Trevor Cox AMC Business Manager
Trevor has come to us after a 20 year career as a Paramedic allowing him to add several new dimensions to the business that we believe to have huge potential. His caring and compassionate nature, coupled to a penetrating, insightful mind are character traits that we believe offer great benefits to the business. Trevor has adapted well to his new industry and has completed his study to become an Accredited Mortgage Consultant providing additional back up to Marion and Sharmeen as required.
Trevor is keen to study Life Coaching to add yet another arm to the business in helping the clients’ emotional growth which will go hand in hand with their financial growth. Trevor’s current functions within the business see his primary role as the Business Manager overseeing the day to day operations of the business.
As the business has been constantly evolving, Trevor has become known for his ability in driving the business to new goals, by seeking and utilizing new technologies in order to provide quick, yet well thought out solutions. Trevor’s management allows Marion, Sharmeen and Melissa the freedom to focus on the real business – Our Clients.
Sharmeen KajaniLoan Consultant
Sharmeen Kajani comes into the Midas team offering an impressive array of skills gained from her tenure with the Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK. In that time, Sharmeen achieved an extensive grounding in Financial Services, including mortgages, valuations, general lending, debt collection, customer service, sales and marketing.
Sharmeen is multilingual (speaking English, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu and soon to be Mandarin/Chinese) which enables us to offer new arrivals to Australia a clear understanding of the lending process with patience, understanding, and confidence to overcome any obstacles.
She is committed to achieving the highest standards for herself and her clients. Sharmeen holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking / Management), as well as the standard minimum requirement of Privacy Act, Uniform Consumer Credit Code and Anti Money Laundering qualifications.
An exceptional communicator, Sharmeen employs a quick and easy manner.

Melissa KramerClient Services Manager & Trainee Para-Planner
Melissa joined us in 2008 as our Client Services Manager and Personal Assistant to Marion. Melissa completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Deakin University in 1996, then spent the next 12 years in the graphic design and printing industry working around Australia. In addition to this, Mel has also studied Business Management and Conveyancing. The abilities she has gained over the years are considerable and transition well into the financial services industry. Melissa has a strong focus on client service levels and the delivery of solutions. Mel is a very welcome and timely addition to our staff and her warm, welcoming nature is a delight to experience.
Melissa is currently undertaking studies in Para Planning, which will lead to her becoming qualified to advise on Risk Insurance. The future direction for Melissa is to undertake further studies to secure her degree in Financial Planning as she progresses with her career with the Midas Team. Mel has a keen interest in property renovation and development and has been spending her spare time renovating her own home. Like Marion, Melissa is a testament to transitioning dreams into reality through simply rolling up the sleeves and getting on with it.
